American Idol had its day.

I used to be a pretty big fan of American Idol when Kelly Clarkson won because I honestly believed that they found a true artist and a great musician. Then I fell out of it for a while but they were pretty good with finding good musicians. Csarrie Underwood and Fantasia and Jordin Sparks. The show was pretty much in its prime.

Who could resist watching the season with David Cook? Yeah me neither. I loved it, thats probably the one reason I watched this last season without Paula Abdul. I mean its not as though she made the show or anything but her drunken like state always made me laugh. But this season was just awful for me, I honestly couldn't sit through listening to them all. Thank God for making the man that invented Teevo. I fast forwarded through the commercials and some of the performances and especially through the judges critiques.

I must admit though I did watch Tim Urbans' performances, only because he was so adorable. The one thing I agreed with Ellen Degeneres on. But the judges this season? They were legit the worst part of the show by far. Randy has no idea on how to give constructive criticism unless its about Pitch, Kara has the same problem and just says they dont "Connect with the Song" What the hell does that have to do with anything? Yeah mot everyone writes from experiences like you did. God she pisses me off. Ellen is so afraid of making anyone mad at her she says something bad and then covers it up with something like "But I love your dress!" or "I Love your smile, your just adorable!"

American Idol is going to suck even worse without Simon Cowell and the producers know it. Kudos to you Cowell for knowing when to walk out gracefully. Its had its day and now its time to end it.
